About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Economist to lead key parts of revenue resets and other regulatory projects. This role will see you position our company for favourable long-term regulatory outcomes.
You will take the lead on conducting investigations, analysis, and modelling, as well as communicating with the business to obtain or supply required information in a timely manner.
* Lead key parts of network revenue resets.
* Assist in managing day-to-day regulatory issues.
* Understand and apply national electricity and gas laws and rules.
* Participate in developing company positions for best practice economic regulation.

We are looking for a good combination of:
* Demonstrated professional experience within a similar role.
* Demonstrated knowledge of economic, corporate finance, legal, and commercial principles that underpin utility markets and their regulation.
* Awareness of current status and emerging trends of electricity and other utilities.
* Sound skills in financial analysis, cost-benefit analysis, problem-solving, planning, and organisation.
* Sound interpersonal and communications skills, written and verbal.
