Position: Rural GP with Emergency Skills
Contract Details: Full-time

Role Overview:
As a Rural GP with Emergency Skills, you will provide primary healthcare and emergency medical services in rural areas, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions
* Respond to emergencies with immediate care
* Collaborate with healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes
* Maintain accurate medical records
* Participate in on-call duties
* Contribute to clinical policy development
* Engage in ongoing medical education
Qualifications and Experience:
* Medical degree from a recognized institution
* Current registration with AHPRA or eligibility via AMC pathway with ACRRM or RACGP
* At least 3 years of GP experience post-family medicine qualification
* Emergency medicine experience preferred
* Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Willingness to work rurally and provide on-call services
* Advanced Life Support certification preferred
