About the opportunity: Join our friendly and established practice! Here at Bupa Dental Petrie you will be supported to grow and work among a great team, if you are proactive to learn and love all things Dentistry than this is the Permanent Part Time opportunity for you. We are open Monday and Wednesday between the hours of 8:00am - 7:00pm. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday we are open 8:00am - 5:00pm! Saturday we are open 8:00-2:00pm. No late nights! This opportunity is a Permanent Part Time role, 30 hours weekly. The roster will be as below:Monday, Thursday and Friday 8:15am-5:15pm and Sat 8:00am-2:00pm. 1. Maintain our amazing customer and team culture - providing continued excellent customer service to our patients
2. Prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment
3. Deliver quality chairside assistance to our Dentists
4. Provide instrument sterilisation
5. Maintain infection control standards and procedures
6. Meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression
7. Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
8. Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
9. Making patients aware of dental services and offers
10. Handling payments
11. Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality
12. High-end patient care; building & maintaining relationships with all clients in a friendly & warm manner
What you'll bring:
13. Ideally have 6-12 months+ experience in Australia as a dental assistant
14. Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded, although not essential - and you'll be compensated with the pay to match your experience level!
15. Willing to learn reception - on the job training provided!
16. You're a motivated self-starter, this is a fast paced and dynamic role
17. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
18. Passionate about customer service and patient care
19. Organised with attention to detail
20. Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
