The role
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and hard‐working person to join our inclusive Adbri Masonry team in the position of Production Supervisor.
This full‐time permanent role will see you based at our Nowra site within an organisational culture focused on continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that operational plans, objectives and site requirements are met to ensure that plant and equipment are operated at optimum cost, highest availability, safely and without environmental impact.
Responsibilities
* Ensure operational equipment is of a safe and efficient standard through effective maintenance
* Ensure compliance with policies and procedures surrounding operational standards
* Work to reduce operational costs while ensuring products are safely manufactured to the required quality standards
* Monitor and maintain quality and maintenance systems
* Ensure compliance with, and communication of all health, safety and environment requirements
* Support and develop collaborative relationships with other sites teams
What you will need to succeed
* Mechanical aptitude
* Proven experience in a manufacturing, mining or production environment
* Great interpersonal, time management and organisational skills
* A wheel loader experience
* An appreciation for building and maintaining effective working relationships
* The ability to work safely and maintain high quality standards
* A positive attitude
* Problem solving skills
