**About the Roles**
As a Conveyor Belt Supervisor, your main accountabilities will be to manage a conveyor team to safely execute conveyor belt replacements and associated activities to a high standard. You will work with our close-knit team of skilled services employees and Supervisors that promote a high safety culture, and are willing to go the extra mile for each other and the Company.
Various Rosters on a FIFO and residential basis.
**About You**
You will have a desire to shape culture, lead a team and improve business processes. Your extensive background in conveyor maintenance and experience in leading teams will see you well placed with the required capability to step into this opportunity. Your ability to communicate is of the upmost importance as well as your relationships skills. It is essential that you demonstrate impeccable safety behaviours and being safety focused is part of your everyday.
Reporting to the Superintendent of Conveyor Maintenance, the successful applicant will need to meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a belt splicer/technician or team leader ready to take the next step
- Previous experience as a Belt Supervisor will be highly regarded
- Experience working on steel cord, fabric and/or woven belts
- Substantial experience and knowledge in conveyor belt systems & associated components
- People management
- Ability to drive and implement a strong safety culture amongst all teams.
- Excellent communication skills, commitment to safety, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic
