About the Role
This is a strategic and hands-on HR advisory role, supporting the firm across the full employee lifecycle. You will work directly with our senior leadership team — including our Managing Principals and Practice Group Leaders — to build and maintain a high-performing, engaged workforce across all offices and remote locations.
This role is offered on a fully remote, full time basis. We trust our people to deliver, wherever they work from.
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide expert HR advice to principals and managers on performance, conduct, capability, and employment relations matters
* Lead and refine recruitment processes as the firm grows, including interstate hires
* Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employment documentation in line with current legislation and best practice
* Support onboarding and induction for new staff across all practice groups
* Provide guidance on workplace health and safety obligations and the Fair Work framework
* Partner with leadership on workforce planning, succession, and staff development
* Drive a positive, people-first culture consistent with our firm's values
* Support the firm's ongoing interstate expansion from an employment and compliance perspective
About You
You are an experienced, reliable, and proactive HR Advisor/Consultant who takes pride in producing high-quality work and supporting people.
You will bring:
* Tertiary qualification in HR, Employment Relations, or a related discipline
* Minimum 5 years' experience in an HR advisory or consulting role, ideally within professional services, legal, or a similar environment
* Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, and contemporary HR practice
* Proven ability to advise senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility
* Experience managing employee relations matters, including investigations and performance processes
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Self-directed and capable of working autonomously in a remote environment
