Join our dynamic team as a full-time Legal Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key member of the team, providing support to our lawyers and clients. Based in Morley, this role involves a range of duties to assist with the smooth running of the Wills and Estates team and other teams when required.
What you'll be doing
* Drafting and preparing wills, enduring powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents
* Organising and maintaining client files and ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant
* Liaising with clients, executors, and other stakeholders to gather information and provide updates
* Assisting with the administration of deceased estates, including preparing documentation and liaising with relevant parties
* Providing administrative support to the Wills and Estates team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence
* Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail in all aspects of the role
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar legal assistant role
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and third parties
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
* Proficient in using legal practice management software and Microsoft Office applications
* A keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy in your work
* A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
