The Role
As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will support the talent acquisition process, managing the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires. This vital role reports to the HR Advisor and collaborates closely with hiring managers and candidates to deliver a seamless and positive recruitment experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the active recruitment list and future hiring pipeline database in alignment with the People Plan.
* Assist in drafting and coordinating position descriptions and job advertisements.
* Post job advertisements on various platforms, including job boards, social media, and our career page.
* Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates and conduct initial phone or video screenings.
* Schedule interviews, prepare interview guides, and provide updates, feedback, and guidance to ensure a positive candidate experience.
* Prepare Employment Agreements and coordinate pre-employment checks and references.
* Coordinate the onboarding process, liaise with hiring leaders and new hires.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
* Support the generation of recruitment reports to track hiring progress and identify areas for improvement.
* Manage work activities in compliance with company policy and privacy requirements.
* Contribute to HR initiatives, such as recognition programs, to support organizational culture.
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field, with knowledge of Australian employment relations, HR policies, procedures, and legislation.
* Proven experience in recruitment and/or HR, ideally in an in-house setting.
* Proficiency in HR systems, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with candidates and stakeholders.
* Exceptional organizational abilities, including time management, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
* A high level of discretion and maturity, with sound judgement when managing confidential or sensitive information.
* A proactive and collaborative mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement and commercial awareness.
