Key Responsibilities:
The successful Specialist Sales Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining positive working relationships with healthcare professionals and their support staff. They will execute in-field customer visits based on the territory plan, leveraging customer insights to inform business objectives and drive sales growth.
Key responsibilities include identifying key opinion leaders, mobilising them within relevant therapeutic areas or disease states, and increasing sales through tailored solutions aligned with both customer and brand objectives.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and administrative decision-makers.
* Execute efficient in-field customer visits, adhering to call cycle and frequency KPIs.
* Identify and engage key opinion leaders within the relevant therapeutic area or disease state.
* Increase sales by delivering tailored solutions aligned with customer and brand objectives.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of Specialist or Hospital Sales experience within the pharmaceutical industry. They will have proven ability to work cross-functionally, collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, and demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills.
Confident negotiation and influencing skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of the Australian prescription medicines landscape. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
