Our client is looking to hire a Salesforce Marketing Cloud consultant.In this role, you'll combine technical leadership, solution architecture, and hands-on expertise across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Sales/Service Cloud helping design and deliver platforms that genuinely improve how people engage.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the architecture and technical delivery of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions, with deep integrations across Salesforce Data Cloud and Sales/Service Cloud.
* Design and implement personalised, data-driven campaigns and customer journeys, including high-volume transactional messaging.
* Provide hands-on technical leadership across Marketing Cloud Studios (Email, Mobile, Journey Builder), CloudPages, and advanced scripting (AMPscript, SQL).
* Architect and oversee cross-cloud integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, ETL tools, middleware, and native Salesforce connectors.
* Guide data modelling, identity resolution, and customer data management across distributed Salesforce platforms.
* Support and lead legacy data migrations into Salesforce environments.
* Ensure all solutions align with security, privacy, and accessibility standards (including GDPR, CCPA, and WCAG 2.0 AA).
* Mentor team members, contribute to architectural standards, and help shape broader technology strategy.
Essential experience
* 5+ years' experience in technical leadership and solution architecture focused on Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
* Proven experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP) and Sales/Service Cloud.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor teams and influence technical direction.
* Strong hands-on capability with:
Marketing Cloud Studios (Email, Mobile, Journey Builder)
* AMPscript and SQL
* CloudPages
* REST/SOAP APIs
* A demonstrated track record delivering large-scale, data-driven marketing and messaging solutions.
* Deep understanding of data architecture, customer identity resolution, and distributed Salesforce ecosystems.
* Experience designing integration architectures and managing data migrations.
* Knowledge of security, privacy, and accessibility frameworks in regulated environments.
* Relevant certifications such as:
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant
* Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant
* Salesforce Administrator
* Additional Salesforce certifications (Sales/Service Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer).
