Why You Should Join Our Team
We specialise in helping people recover from property damage, and we are searching for new team members to train as Restoration Technicians.
Training & Development
We'll teach you everything you need to know. You'll gain hands‑on experience with:
* Flood and water damage restoration
* Mould remediation
* Fire and smoke damage
* Using specialist tools like moisture meters and air scrubbers
* Setting up drying chambers and containment zones
Growth
We invest in our people and want you to succeed and grow. We take an interest in your personal development and provide career growth opportunities for you. In fact, all our management roles are filled by employees who started out in entry‑level positions
Variety
Every day is different. You'll visit different properties and meet different people every day. You'll be provided with a work vehicle for jobs all over Illawarra. There will also be opportunities for interstate travel too
Overtime
When things get busy (and they often do), you can earn extra through overtime.
Our Team
We enjoy working with each other and start our mornings together - usually over a coffee. Even though we are growing, we still feel like a small close‑knit group. When you join our team, we welcome you into our 'family'.
Your Role and Responsibilities
* Interacting with our clients
* Assessing property damage
* Completing reports and surveys using a company‑provided iPad
* Completing property restoration work
* Providing practical solutions to issues as they arise on the job
How to Know if You Are a Good Fit
* You like the variety in a flexible schedule. Each day you will be at a number of locations with different clients. You'll never get bored.
* You enjoy communicating with and helping people. There is a satisfaction in helping people in their time of need. To the client, this is a stressful time. You can be the person who makes the situation easy.
* You have a positive personality. When we asked our team the best things about working here, the top 2 responses were the variety and the people they work with. So, you will need to bring that optimistic vibe to maintain the positive team feel.
* You like responsibility and making decisions. We aren't after labourer's. We are looking for people that we can invest in and train, so that they can be confident with decisions they make on the job site.
* You like being organised and giving attention to detail. From a staging area for your tools, vacuuming the site before you leave and organising any future attendances. You ensure the job runs smoothly with everyone knowing the next step in the process.
* A full Australian driver's license is required for this position.
