Job Title: Graduate Engineer

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate in Civil Engineering or currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering course to join our dynamic team. The Graduate Engineer will rotate through various departments, including Engineering & Asset Services, Capital Projects, Engineering Development and Operations.
You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, including civil infrastructure, traffic management, and engineering investigations. You will also assist with processing engineering drawings for staged subdivision developments and undertake general engineering tasks using CAD software.
Key Responsibilities:
* To undertake the Graduate Engineer work plan within each of the business units, achieving set learning objectives.
* To respond positively and punctually to customer enquiries and requests, adhering to the Customer Service Charter.
* To undertake and assist with traffic management submissions and issues, and general engineering investigations and drafting of drawings for minor civil projects using CAD.
* To process engineering drawings for staged subdivision developments in accordance with Council requirements, the Subdivision Act and other statutory regulations.
About You:
* Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or current enrolment in Civil Engineering Course. Eligibility for membership with the Institute of Engineers of Australia is the minimum qualification requirement.
* Experience in various computer software packages including Microsoft Office and CAD.
* Ability to communicate technical matters clearly and concisely, in writing and orally, with a diverse range of people.
