Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to work on an Education project in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. This is a single-trade project with a strong emphasis on safety supervision and site coordination.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure all works are carried out safely and in line with the Construction Phase Plan.
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety briefings.
- Maintain accurate site records (daily diary, inspections, near-miss reporting).
- Enforce strict access control and site boundaries appropriate to a live school environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising small to medium-sized construction projects (preferably cladding or façade work).
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and CDM responsibilities.
- Valid CSCS card.
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification (required).
- Enhanced DBS check or Working with Children Permit (essential).
- First Aid at Work (preferred).
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
