Collection Systems Project Officer Job Description
The position of Collection Systems Project Officer plays a critical role in the coordination and operation of collection systems. This is a professional opportunity to join an organization that provides high-quality project support and coordination services.
This position involves providing technical development and documentation, scheduling, user support, and training for collection management systems (CMS) and digital asset management systems (DAMS). * Provide high-quality project support and coordination services to museum staff.
* Develop and maintain associated training documentation, including manuals and data entry guidelines.
* Work with internal stakeholders to solve problem issues using technical skills and enhance the systems to improve business processes and efficiencies.
* Assist with data cleaning and work associated with data migration and systems upgrades, and the publication of records onto the online catalogue, Collection Explorer.
* Strong technical skills and experience working with collection management systems and digital asset management systems.
