Description
Sutherland Shire Council is seeking Certificate III Early Childhood Educators to join our Early Education & Child Protection team. In this role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality education and care for children from birth to six years, supporting their wellbeing and learning every day.
You'll be hands-on, engaging with and supervising children, assisting with daily routines and maintaining a safe, clean environment. You'll contribute to engaging, play-based educational programs tailored to each child's interests and development, while working closely with families the team.
What You'll Do
* Observe and document children's learning, development and engagement in the centre program.
* Contribute to planning and delivering play-based learning programs.
* Build supportive and collaborative relationships with families and children.
* Collaborate with colleagues and engage in ongoing professional development
What You'll Bring
* Certificate III in Education and Care.
* Current First Aid qualification (HLTAID012).
* NSW Working with Children Check.
* Current Child Protection Training (CHCPRT025).
* Strong knowledge of early childhood development frameworks (EYLF, NQS).

* Package:$70,742 gross p.a. (or $35.80 gross per hour) plus 12% superannuation.The Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) Worker Retention Allowance will be applied to these roles in addition with Federal Government guidelines.
* Hours of work:Temporary and permanent full time and part time roles available.Applicants must be available to work a range of shifts between the hours of 6:00am - 7:00pm to support the operational requirements of the centres.
