Product Technical Support Engineer – Renewable Energy Systems
As a Product Technical Support Engineer, you'll be the local expert for our renewable energy storage systems. You'll provide both predominately remote, and sometimes on‑site, Level 2 and 3 technical support. You will diagnose and resolve complex inverter and battery issues, and ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
Your day‑to‑day will include:
Supporting installers and distributors with advanced system troubleshooting and commissioning for residential battery energy storage systems.
Analysing system logs and data to resolve hardware or software issues.
Occasionally conducting on‑site replacements, and performance testing.
Delivering technical training sessions and creating clear installation guides and FAQs.
Providing structured product feedback to improve future designs.
Working closely with global engineering teams to escalating and resolve critical issues.

Skills and Experience
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years in technical support or on‑site service for inverters, ESS, or power electronics.
Strong electrical troubleshooting ability and experience using test tools (multimeter, clamp meter, oscilloscope).
Knowledge of Australian grid connection and battery standards (AS/NZS 4777.1 & 5139).
Excellent communication in English and mandarin languages, organisation, and problem‑solving skills.
A valid Australian driver's license and willingness to travel interstate as needed.
A White Card and/or electrical licence highly regarded.
