A Large and well-known National Food Distribution company are looking to start multiple Day and Night Shift Warehouse Pickers / Forklift Storespeople for their Distribution Centre in the Hemmant area. Earn $38.24 – $44.36/hr + OT + Penalties
Multiple Available Positions:
* Day shifts: Monday to Friday roster, starting at 5:00am, 9:00am, or 9:30am.
* Night shifts: Sunday to Thursday roster, starting at 10:00pm.
Key Responsibilities – Pick Packers/ Forklift Operators:
This role plays a key part in keeping our warehouse operations running smoothly and efficiently and is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of pick packing and forklift operating.
* Accurately pick and pack orders, ensuring the correct items and quantities are prepared.
* Move completed pallets to the dispatch area for wrapping, labelling, and final preparation across dry goods, chillers, and freezer sections (freezer gear provided).
* Assist with inventory control and carry out basic equipment checks.
* Maintain a clean, organised workspace while following strict safety and hygiene protocols.

What We're Looking For:
* Warehouse Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred. Experience in food distribution is a bonus but not required — we'll train you
* Forklift Licence: Valid and ready to use. Experienced and newly licensed operators are welcome to apply. No forklift licence but willing to get one in the near future? You're still encouraged to apply.
* Physical Fitness: Able to handle manual tasks and stay active throughout the day.
* Attention to Detail: Precise and careful with your work.
* Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrate clear and effective communication within a team setting.
* Ability to pass a drug/alcohol test and pre‑employment medical.

Additional Opportunity: Meat Production Room Labourers
We are also recruiting 2 general labourers to assist in the meat production room (chiller environment). These are temporary roles starting at 5:00am Monday to Friday, expected to last several weeks with the possibility of becoming permanent. $36.87/ hr + OT & Penalties.
Labourer Responsibilities:
* Assist with meat preparation tasks such as bone trimming and marinating.
* Pack and seal minced meat bags.
* Unpack and repack boxes.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area.
No forklift licence required. Ideal candidates are reliable, comfortable working in cold environments, and able to perform manual handling duties.
