This role is a rare opportunity for a People & Culture professional who wants to own the full HR function within a fast‑paced, creative environment. As the agency’s P&C Advisor, you’ll be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle, recruitment, onboarding, development, engagement, retention, and offboarding, while acting as a trusted advisor to managers and employees. You’ll play a central role in shaping culture, strengthening processes, and ensuring the agency remains a supportive, high‑performing place to work. Working as an individual contributor, you’ll partner closely with senior leadership to build scalable HR practices, drive people‑first initiatives, and support the agency’s growth. Key Responsibilities HR Leadership & Operations Manage all HR and recruitment activity, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and alignment with agency goals. Build strong relationships with managers and external partners to support effective decision‑making. Lead with empathy, champion agency values, and foster a culture of high performance and transparency. Oversee training budgets, coordinate development opportunities, and track progress. Manage leave processes and ensure employees understand entitlements and systems. Support ad hoc operational and cultural projects as needed. Talent Acquisition Own the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle, including job descriptions, sourcing, interviews, and reporting on hiring metrics. Conduct reference checks, exit interviews, and manage onboarding/offboarding processes. Prepare employment contracts and negotiate terms. Partner with managers on workforce planning, role scoping, and salary alignment. Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate data entry and smooth integration into internal systems. Reduce recruiter spend and improve retention through strong hiring practices and cultural alignment. Employee Relations & Communication Act as the first point of contact for all HR queries, providing clear, empathetic guidance. Strengthen workplace culture through engagement and connectedness initiatives. Liaise with HQ on policies, compliance and best practice. Maintain relationships with external recruiters, legal partners, and immigration agents. Stay across industry salary benchmarks and ensure internal alignment. Qualifications Degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline. Proven experience in a generalist HR role. Skills & Experience 3-5 years’ experience in HR, ideally within advertising, creative, or a related industry. Strong understanding of HR best practice across recruitment, performance, WHS, employee relations, and engagement. Demonstrated ability to build and streamline HR processes for efficiency and scale. High integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgement. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship‑building skills. Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
