The Management Accountant will oversee financial reporting, analysis, and branch performance tracking across multiple businesses. You will use Xero to manage branch and divisional reporting, ensuring each business unit's financial results are clearly understood and presented.
You'll work closely with the Director, AP/ AR Officer and the external accountants to produce accurate management reports and monitor cash flow.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports for each business and branch
* Develop and maintain branch-level reporting and tracking within Xero
* Prepare cash flow forecasts and budgets
* Create and refine Excel-based reporting models
* Monitor KPIs, margins, and profitability by branch
* Maintain accurate reconciliations and financial data in Xero
* Support management with insights where required
* Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and management as required
About You
You are an experienced and self-driven accounting professional who enjoys translating numbers into meaningful insights. You're comfortable managing reporting for multiple businesses and branches, and you have a strong command of both Xero and Excel.
You'll Bring
* 3–5+ years' experience in a Management Accountant or Senior Accountant role
* Proven experience with Xero branch and tracking category reporting
* Strong management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting skills
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
* Ability to manage multiple entities and meet deadlines
* NDIS or trade industry experience (advantageous but not essential)
* Accounting qualification (CA/CPA preferred but not required)
