Job Title: Companion Care Support Specialist
This role involves providing dedicated support to elderly residents, enhancing their daily living experiences. Key responsibilities include assisting with personal care needs, mobility support, medication reminders, and fostering a caring environment.
* Assist with bathing, dressing, and toileting requirements for residents
* Offer mobility assistance to aid residents with walking, transferring, and using equipment as needed
* Administer medication according to each resident's personalized care plan
* Maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
To succeed in this position, ideal candidates will hold relevant qualifications in aged care (Cert III or IV), possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and demonstrate flexibility. This role requires working within an aged care facility, with occasional weekend work possible.
