An exciting opportunity is now available for a Transition Coordinator within the Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) Capability Lifecycle Manager (CLCM) program based at Henderson WA. The Transition Coordinator is accountable to the OPV CLCM Enterprise Manager for the coordination of the OPV transition and acceptance into service activities relevant to OPV SPO.
The role will create and maintain relationships with SEA1180 Project Office, Capability Manager's Representative, Fundamental Input to Capability Representatives and OPV SPO functions that underpins the transition framework.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide coordination across all transition activity stakeholders, aligned to OPV Transition Working Group priorities.
- Support development of and maintain:
- OPV Transition framework;
- OPV Transition Working Group Terms of Reference, schedule and action register;
- Stakeholder relationships aligned to the OPV Enterprise Management Plan.
- Provide oversight of OPV Transition artefact delivery and maintenance for schedule, scope, quality and risk;
- Ensure a fit for purpose support system for OPV's is in place when required by:
- Facilitate transition of artefacts, physical items and responsibilities from SEA1180 PO to the SPO;
- Monitor and report status and risk of transition activities, where required provide recommendations to the SPO;
- Collate relevant in-service lessons/observations for communication to Acquisition.
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a collaborative enterprise environment.
- Previous project management experience in a project lead or management position.
- Strong communication and software system skills, coupled with the ability to present professionally to various stakeholder groups directly or in virtual meeting forums.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a NV1 Defence security clearance.
- Availability to undertake travel where necessary to meet project requirements.
A background in defence industry project management enhanced by knowledge in military systems, sustainment and capability lifecycle management and operational programs will be highly advantageous.
