We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. This is a permanent part-time opportunity working three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) with the potential to transition to a full-time permanent position in early 2025.
About the Role
In this role, you will provide exceptional aged and disability care, as well as nursing services in the comfort of our clients' homes. Our mission is to empower our clients to live independent and fulfilling lives. You will build strong connections with clients and their families, conduct health assessments, and create personalized care plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Meet with clients and their families to assess their healthcare needs and develop meaningful relationships.
* Conduct health assessments and create personalized care plans.
* Provide essential nursing services, including catheter care, wound care, clinical assessments, and palliative care.
* Handle information requests, feedback, and general inquiries with professionalism and care.
* E nsure all records are meticulously maintained in our databases and software programs.
Requirements
* A qualified nurse with nursing qualification and relevant experience.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
* Proficient in using computers and software.
* Current or willing to obtain Australian National Police Check, Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR certificate.
* A full driver's license and a reliable, registered vehicle.
* Current registration with AHPRA.
