Maintenance officers play a vital role in ensuring facilities are safe, well-maintained and compliant with relevant regulations. This position is responsible for the upkeep, repair and maintenance of a health care facility, creating a comfortable and secure environment for residents. Key duties include attending to general maintenance tasks, checking maintenance logs, prioritizing tasks under the guidance of the Home Manager and providing input to improve operational efficiency.
Key Requirements
* Experience in maintenance or related field
* Commitment to ongoing quality improvement and process optimization
* Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
* Working knowledge of WHS and infection control principles
* Trade qualifications and/or experience
