About the role
TAFE Gippsland is seeking a motivated and industry current Casual Health Teacher to deliver high-quality vocational education and training programs. In this role, you will plan, deliver and assess engaging learning experiences that support student success while ensuring compliance with training package and regulatory requirements. You will contribute to course development, maintain accurate student records, and work collaboratively with colleagues to support positive student outcomes.
About you
You are an experienced health professional with a passion for teaching and supporting learners to achieve their best. You bring strong communication skills, a student-centred approach, and the ability to deliver practical, industry-relevant training. You are organised, adaptable and committed to maintaining your professional and vocational currency. You enjoy working as part of a team and take pride in delivering quality education aligned with industry standards.
Qualifications and experience
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
* Certificate III in Health Services Assistance with a minimum of three years' industry experience, or a higher relevant qualification (e.g. Nurse, Qualified Aged Care Worker)
* Minimum three years of professional experience in the health industry
