The positions are FIFO from Perth, Darwin, or Broome to site or DIDO from Onslow, Exmouth, Karratha, or Dampier. Paulsens is located in the Ashburton Basin of the Eastern Pilbara region, 211kms inland east of Onslow and 180km west of Paraburdoo. Flights are to Onslow or Paraburdoo, then a two-hour transport to site.
The roster is 15/13, alternating between day shift and night shift each roster cycle.
About the Opportunity
The UG Mining Team includes Operations, Maintenance, and Technical Services (Engineering, Geology, and Survey) who together will maximize the availability and utilization of mobile equipment and resources to safely and efficiently mine gold.
We are looking for a Service Crew Operator interested in joining our team.
Our Service Crew are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground services and infrastructures. This includes but is not limited to air, water, and pump lines, ventilation bags, firing lines, communication cables, submersible pumps, and mono pump maintenance.
About You
We are looking for people with positive and motivated 'can do' attitudes, able to work collaboratively, and with a diverse range of people across all levels who understand we are all in this together.
In addition, we require the following:
1. Strong understanding and experience with the design, set-up, and operation of mine infrastructure systems including ventilation, power, pumping, and mine services in an underground operation.
2. Experience with planning, installation, and inspection of mining services, ventilation ducting, and communication cables.
3. Currently Working at Heights and Confined Space Certification (or ability to obtain).
4. Competent with Integrated Tool Carrier operation.
5. C Class license.
