TOMRA is also committed to building on the perspectives, experience, knowledge and skills that this diversity brings to our organisation.Job DescriptionMaintain, service and repair TOMRA's pioneering reverse vending machine (RVM) installations and bulk processing equipment within your area of Tasmania to ensure maximum machine uptime and customer satisfaction. This role will focus on conveyors, sensors, motors, mobile comms and other equipment. Driving between locations is a large part of the role, so a clean driving record and love for being on the road is paramount. This is a highly autonomous position that would suit someone who enjoys working individually and is a highly motivated self-starter. The successful candidate will be placed on a rotating roster which will include weekends.What you’ll be doing:Servicing and maintaining installed equipmentReporting on service assignments and faultsInstalling kiosks and bulk processing equipment at new sitesProviding excellent customer service to our partners and members of the publicAnalyse areas of potential improvement of products and report to local service teamUndertake cleaning of equipmentQualificationsTo be a successful Field Service Technician you will have:Electrical / Electronic Trade Certificate III OR Disconnect-Reconnect Certificate OR Appliance/ Mechanical Trade background OR Comparable experience on electrical/ mechanical equipmentPrevious experience with operating systems, installing software, networking and mobile telecommunicationsPrevious experience interacting face to face with customersVery strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities, especially in relation to mechanical, electrical and electronic equipmentExperience in troubleshooting electronic equipment and be able to replace circuit boards, sensors and other electronic components of the RVMUnrestricted driver’s license and willing to submit a full driving history recordAbility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekendsAdditional InformationDoes this sound like you?!
