We are seeking a Deskside Support Technician to join our team in Newcastle. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient technical support, focusing on a wide range of IT services and solutions.
Minimum Requirements
* Minimum of 4 years experience in IT support, highlighting expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues effectively.
* Proficiency in desktop support (Mandatory skill).
* Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows OS and Mac OS.
* Experience with Active Directory management and Office 365 administration.
* Knowledge of VPN configuration, data centre device management, and mobile device management.
* Ability to manage collaboration services and VIP user support.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Provide deskside support, including troubleshooting, installations, and guidance.
* Manage end-user tickets and IT asset inventories.
* Coordinate with vendors for procurement and repairs.
* Develop IT support procedures and assist in user onboarding and training.
* Support data centre operations and perform software installations and configurations.
* Ensure compliance with security policies and manage data backup and restore processes.
