Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to join our Obstetrics and Gynaecology team.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to contribute to the provision of clinical services to patients under Consultant supervision, while gaining valuable experience in various O&G environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Rotating through a series of Units designed to provide exposure to different O&G settings;
* Participating in a seven-day roster including after-hours as required;
* Demonstrating a commitment to clinical teaching and participating in associated research projects;
* May be required to complete a rotation to the Pregnancy Advisory Centre located at 21 Belmore Terrace, Woodville Park.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you need to have:
* Clinical skills appropriate for the duties performed in the work unit;
* 12 months satisfactory experience as an intern in a recognised teaching hospital;
* Ability to work as an effective team member in a multi-disciplinary environment;
* Effective communication and problem-solving skills;
* A commitment to client participation in care and quality management philosophy.
