The Opportunity:
Gorilla Jobs is seeking Intensive Care locum doctors across NSW at multiple levels:
* RMO / SRMO with ICU, HDU or acute care experience
* ICU Registrar / Senior Registrar
* ICU Consultant (FCICM or equivalent)
Clinical Environment:
* Exposure to a broad range of critically unwell patients (medical, surgical, cardiac, trauma and sepsis, depending on site)
* Work in ICUs, HDUs and step-down units with established escalation pathways
* Experience with ventilated patients, inotropes, invasive monitoring and complex decision-making
* Involvement in MET/Code Blue/rapid response where relevant
* Opportunities to supervise and teach junior doctors and critical care nursing staff (for senior registrars and consultants)
* Experience that supports both CICM training requirements and established critical care careers
Eligibility Criteria:
* AHPRA General or Specialist Registration
* NSW Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
* Australian working rights
* Willingness to complete hospital credentialing and onboarding

* Hunter New England & Northern NSW - Regional referral ICUs and coastal HDUs with a mix of high-acuity cases and strong senior support
* Central Coast & Western Sydney - Busy metropolitan and peri-urban units with diverse pathology and high patient flow
* Murrumbidgee, Western NSW & Southern NSW - Regional ICUs and mixed HDU/ICU environments where you see a broad spectrum of presentations and follow patients closely
* Far West & Nepean Blue Mountains - Smaller and regional units focused on stabilisation, ongoing critical care and retrieval pathways, with close-knit multidisciplinary teams
