Job Title: Addiction Specialist Case Manager
At Lives Lived Well, a well-established not-for-profit organisation, we treat and support people affected by alcohol and other drugs, mental health, and gambling concerns.
About the Role
We are seeking highly skilled addiction specialists to join our team in Longreach QLD. The successful candidates will engage and support clients in their ongoing management, counselling, and treatment of AOD dependency and other associated factors.
The full-time position is maximum term until July 2026, while the part-time role works 19 hours per week until the same date.
The addiction specialist case manager will advocate for clients, celebrate their achievements, and help develop their capacity and confidence to exit treatment.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Engage and support clients in their ongoing management, counselling, and treatment of AOD dependency and other associated factors.
* Advocate for clients, celebrate their achievements, and help develop their capacity and confidence to exit treatment.
* Promote awareness of the program and establish new referral pathways.

Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, human services, occupational therapy, or other health-related disciplines.
* Excellent relationship and rapport-building skills, including networking with local providers and attending meetings and events.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills; self-managing and able to prioritise your own workload.
* A proactive team player with autonomy and ability to spend time on your own.
* An understanding of evidence-based clinical frameworks.
* A sound understanding of professional, ethical, and legislative frameworks, including setting boundaries.
