Job Title: Civil Construction
We are seeking a skilled plant operator to join our team and contribute to the delivery of council infrastructure projects.
The successful candidate will be involved in operating various large mobile plants for construction and maintenance, as well as drainage sump works and cleaning.
* Council infrastructure projects, including roadworks, footpaths, kerbing, and drainage systems
* Operating various large mobile plants for construction and maintenance
* Drainage sump works and cleaning
Key Responsibilities:
* To operate heavy machinery such as excavators, graders, and rollers
* To maintain accurate records of work completed and any issues encountered
* To work collaboratively with other teams to ensure project deadlines are met
* To undertake regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met
Requirements:
* Two or more years of experience in a similar role
* Holding an HR Licence (mandatory)
* Possessing an Excavator ticket
* Having a Traffic management ticket
* Able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position working outdoors in all weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong physical presence and be comfortable working at heights.
