Allstar Blue are currently recruiting for experienced Belt Splicers for residential positions based in Newman.
Key Responsibilities
* Belt Splicing, repairs, maintenance and installations to fabric, ply, solid woven and steel‐cord belts.
* Remove and replace belts without supervision.
* Conduct belt audits.
* Operate winches and winders.
* Set up and plan equipment for continuous operations.
* Assist with creating splice reports.
* Perform hot and cold repairs.
* Perform pulley lagging.
* Apply mechanical clips.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3–5 years experience.
* Experience with fabric/steel cord/solid woven/ply belts.
* Ability to pass a pre‐employment medical.
* Willingness to relocate to Newman.
