ABOUT US

Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (NPY) Women's Council was founded over 40 years ago by strong Anangu[1] women who sought a voice and a vehicle to implement change for their communities. We are proudly Anangu‑led, grounded in women's law, authority and culture, and guided by the collective agency of women and our guiding principles.

Today, we deliver critical health, social and cultural services to 24 remote desert communities across 350,000 km² spanning the NT, SA and WA tri‑state regions. We are also a powerful advocate, strengthening Anangu‑led solutions to improve the lives of women, children and families.

Our Vision: All Anangu living well in both worlds.

Our Purpose: To support all Anangu, especially women and children, to have a good life, guided by culture and sound governance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an exceptional Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander woman with strong cultural knowledge, a commitment to community‑led decision‑making, and a deep belief in Anangu women's authority

Anangu refers to Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara people

The CEO will:
