Work Type: Fixed Term - Full Time, Fixed Term - Part Time, Permanent - Full Time, Permanent - Part Time

This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent FullTime, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term PartTime.

The following should be noted:

- The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications and will assess on a regular basis.

- Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.
- Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2026.

Role : WACHS is seeking dedicated Clinical Nurses to join our dynamic team in Mount Barker. This role is pivotal in managing, coordinating, and delivering advanced practice nursing care for patients and their families, utilising your leadership and advanced nursing skills within emergency, acute, and aged care nursing settings.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and experience in the delivery of evidence-based nursing care incorporating quality and risk management within the practice setting of emergency nursing, triage, acute and residential aged care.
- Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills including team leadership, the ability to work effectively with others and strong clinical escalation communication skills.
- Demonstrated computing skills to enable navigation of in-time patient information entry into Health Information Systems, online policy access, internal communication and completing online learning resources.

The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to new and existing nurses and midwives across a broad range of patient-facing roles on fixed-term or permanent contracts at eligible locations. Eligible nurses and midwives can receive between $5,000 and $17,000 in support over 12 months.
