Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Katoomba and the Lower Blue Mountains region. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
* Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals tailored to each participant.
* Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
* Support and advise on environmental adaptations in settings such as home, school, work, and residential facilities.
* Recommend the provision of Assistive Technology to help participants overcome functional limitations and promote independence.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
* A proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and eager to learn from new ideas.
