Overview
We are seeking a skilled Strategy and Business Operations Manager with robust strategic thinking capabilities to support company-wide leadership in making data-informed decisions. In this role, you will solve complex business challenges, drive long-term strategies, and lead high-impact initiatives that shape product direction and go-to-market execution.
Duration: Initial 9 Month Contract / until 28th June 2026 (with possibility of extension).
Location: Flexible/Remote (Anywhere in AU East Coast: Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
- You will play an instrumental role in framing long term strategy, defining goals and helping teams craft initiatives to drive sustainable long-term competitive advantage.
- Partner with leaders to solve complex business challenges using structured, hypothesis-driven approaches.
- Identify strategic opportunities and evaluate them with high-level financial models.
- Develop clear, actionable recommendations that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in analytics, finance, product, marketing, and sales.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior executives and influence key decisions.
Must Have Skills/Experience
- 5-7 years’ Strategy and Business Operations Manager related experience
- Financial Modelling / Analysis experience in Excel / Google sheets
- Experience developing market evaluation, storylines / narratives
- Strong business acumen, understanding of profitability and growth in a technology / SaaS business model context
- Excellent communications skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively engage work with Senior Leaders
