Speech Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to strengthen and develop your clinical expertise by providing assessments and therapeutic interventions to people with neurological disorders and other types of disabilities.


Key Responsibilities:

* Provide treatment to individuals who rely on you to improve their lives, assessing their needs, designing therapy plans, and advocating on their behalf.
* Support participants in the disability and neuro sector across areas including language, social communication, and swallowing/dysphagia using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Occupational Therapists, and Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners to share knowledge and ideas.
* Celebrate 'Weekly Wins' with participants, their families, colleagues, and the Leadership Team.
* Attend opportunities for networking and learning and development at a national level.


Requirements:

* A driven and passionate individual with relevant tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and 1+ years post-qualification experience.
* Comfortable working in a high-growth business with flexibility and adaptability.
* A people person wanting to be part of something bigger.
* An own car and valid driver's license.
* Speech Pathology Australia Registration, Police Check, and Working with Children Check.
