As a Machine Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laundry facilities by maintaining and repairing our state-of-the-art laundry machines.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections on laundry machines to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with laundry machines.
- Repair or replace defective parts and components to restore machine functionality.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to prolong the lifespan of laundry machines.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and address potential machine issues.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Technical experience in machine maintenance, preferably in a commercial laundry or similar industry.
- First aid certification is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to recent technologies and laundry machine models.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
