Cocker Transport is searching for a dedicated Senior operations scheduler to join its transport division. This is a permanent full-time position based in Tottenham.

Responsibilities
* Coordinate and oversee the effective and efficient scheduling of our transport fleet.
* Managing logistics challenges in real-time, including re-routing and stakeholder updates
* Maximising fleet utilisation while ensuring safety and compliance with company and regulatory requirements
* Monitoring inventory and stock levels at clients via telemetry
* Maintain internal driver induction software
* Work in a team and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to arrange on time deliveries and pickups.
* Collaborate with external & internal workshop teams regarding repairs and scheduled maintenance for transport our fleet.
* Commit to implementing Heavy Vehicle National Law and Regulations, Chain of Responsibility, our company values and all other legislative requirements.
Skills and Experience
* Experience in fleet allocation, scheduling, or logistics coordination.
* Experience with just in time deliveries and pickup - willingness to change and adapt quickly
* Good organisation and prioritisation skills
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients.
* Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks under time pressures.
* Intermediate IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working within a dynamic team environment.
* Industry experience in transport or manufacturing supply chain (advantageous but not essential).
