As an Electrical/Instrument & Control Technician, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving process issues and plant breakdowns, contributing to the development and implementation of plant upgrades, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will also oversee electrical and maintenance contractors, manage equipment databases, and coordinate inventory replenishment. This role demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication abilities (written and verbal).
* Main responsibilities include:
* Identifying and resolving process issues and plant breakdowns.
* Contributing to the development and implementation of plant upgrades.
* Maintaining compliance with relevant regulations by managing equipment databases and coordinating inventory replenishment.
* Oversight of electrical and maintenance contractors.
* Management of equipment databases and coordination of inventory replenishment.
* Evaluation of decisions made in this role on a daily basis and their impact on collective performance.
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Effective communication through written and verbal means.
* Class 1 or Class C driver's license.
* Experience as an Electrical, Instrument and Control Technician.
* Certification in Instrumentation and Control (minimum Cert III or IV).
* Occupational Health and Safety Card (OHS).
* Hazardous Area Certification (EEHE) is highly advantageous.
* EWP Ticket or willingness to obtain.
