About the opportunity
As an Occupational Therapist, you will support people of all ages within a transdisciplinary team, enhancing clients' lives to live life on their terms. In this role you will:
* Provide individual and group OT training/intervention programs.
* Deliver and evaluate clients through various interactive and digital assessments.
* Assess and train clients in the use of assistive devices and equipment for everyday activities such as cooking, cleaning, showering, etc.
* Provide and advise on low‑vision techniques and strategies to improve occupational performance and quality of life.
Qualifications and experience
To be successful, you must hold a nationally recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy and a current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You will also have:
* Knowledge and skills in working with children, adults, and older adults.
* Team‑player attitude, passionate about supporting people to live life on their terms and build independence.
* Enthusiasm for providing exceptional client services to people of all ages who are blind or have low vision.
* A proactive and creative approach.
