Job Title:
Aircraft Maintenance Specialist
This role requires a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to conduct inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft during scheduled base maintenance. The specialist will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of maintenance are met.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Part 145 maintenance and hold a CASA Part 66 License or equivalent. They should also have overhaul workshop experience and the ability to work autonomously while meeting deadlines as part of the team.
The Aircraft Maintenance Specialist will oversee disassembly and reassembly of major aircraft components including wings, fuselage, and engines. They will perform structural, mechanical, and avionics system overhauls ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards.
Certification & Documentation:
* Certify completion of maintenance tasks by issuing Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) upon satisfactory inspection and testing.
* Maintain meticulous records of all maintenance activities including parts used, modifications made, and compliance with airworthiness directives.
* Ensure all documentation aligns with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft components.
2. Perform structural, mechanical, and avionics system overhauls ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards.
3. Oversee disassembly and reassembly of major aircraft components including wings, fuselage, and engines.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
* Implement quality control procedures to ensure highest standards of maintenance are met.
* Participate in internal and external audits addressing any findings promptly and effectively.
* Stay updated with latest regulatory changes and industry best practices to maintain compliance.
