WATM Crane Sales and Service is a privately owned, specialist, crane dealership with 50 years of experience in the industry. WATM leads the market in the supply and support of several of the world's leading brands, including exclusive distribution for Hiab and Manitowoc cranes. Our core business is in the sale and support of Cranes and Lifting Equipment.
Operating across four locations in Perth and the Pilbara region, WATM has purpose-built infrastructure spanning over 13,000m2. We are conveniently located in Bayswater.
About the Role
WATM is proud to be the exclusive Western Australian distributor for Hiab vehicle-loading cranes. We manage everything from sales and servicing through to custom installations on a wide range of trucks and heavy equipment.
With strong demand and a busy pipeline of projects, we're looking for a skilled Welder/Installer to join our team. In this role, you'll be fabricating H-frames for crane mounting, producing side plates for truck bodies, and assisting with crane installations.
This is a hands-on role that offers stability, above-average industry pay, and the opportunity to grow your skills with on-the-job training and upskilling. Best of all – you'll stay Perth-based while working on exciting, high-quality builds.
What We're Looking For
* Trade-qualified welder/fabricator (vehicle body building or fabrication).
* Experience in heavy vehicle body building is highly desirable.
* Solid welding skills with a strong attention to detail.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Safety-first mindset and pride in producing quality work.
* Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
