A premium logistics & supply chain business delivering warehousing, and distribution services across a diverse customer base is seeking to appoint an experienced HR Manager / HR Business Partner on a permanent basis within a stable and flourishing organisation! Reporting directly to the CEO, this business has a strong customer centric mindset and genuine care for its people, backed by over 15 years of operational success. Supported by an engaged C suite, embedded systems including Employment Hero, and established governance frameworks, this role offers true ownership with real backing. For the right individual, it can operate either full time or three / four days per week, depending on capability and preference. This is a standalone, onsite HR leadership role embedded within the organisation. Importantly, solid HR foundations are already in place, including established policies, systems, and governance frameworks. This is not a build from scratch position. The opportunity is to elevate and strengthen the function through visible, service led business partnering. We are seeking an HR professional who is present, proactive, and hands on; someone who educates leader / teams, ensures the HR function is understood and valued across the business, and provides practical, commercially aligned support where it matters most. At its core, this is a business partnering position. You will work alongside operational and corporate teams and align people strategy to business delivery, while confidently managing governance, compliance, talent, and employee relations. Based in Western Sydney, this is a this will require onsite presence, with a premium remuneration package that is commensurate with skills and expertise. Key Responsibilities: Lead and continually strengthen the full generalist HR function across the organisation, providing strategic guidance and practical support across employee relations, recruitment, performance, workforce planning, governance, compliance, and risk management. Implement HR strategies that align with business goals, driving employee engagement and organisational growth. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while fostering a positive workplace culture, noting there is external support with offsite quality vendors in areas such as legal / safety. Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to identify and address business needs. Manage HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively communicated across the organisation. Lead initiatives focused on employee development, training, and succession planning. Skills and Experience for Optimal Success and Performance: Minimum of 5 years' experience as an HR Business Partner / HR Manager / People & Culture Leader Demonstrated experience supporting both blue and white collar workforces within operational or service driven environments. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation. Excellent recruitment & talent expertise, coupled with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams for staff attrition or hiring. Superb stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with leadership teams and staff at all levels. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects to drive continuous improvement.
