We're looking for a hands-on Project Manager to join our Growth Operations division, focused on delivering control improvements and process optimisation across the Partnerships & Alliances (P&A) team. This newly created role reports to the Head of Control Improvement & Implementation and offers the opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-evolving area of the business.
Brief Description
The role
We're looking for a hands-on Project Manager to join our Growth Operations division, focused on delivering control improvements and process optimisation across the Partnerships & Alliances (P&A) team. This newly created role reports to the Head of Control Improvement & Implementation and offers the opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-evolving area of the business.
This isn't your typical PM role — you won't have a formal project team or traditional project structures. Instead, you'll work across a wide range of initiatives, often simultaneously, partnering with internal teams and external affiliates to bring structure, accountability, and momentum where it's needed most.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver process and control improvement initiatives in line with strategic objectives
* Develop and manage delivery plans, RAID logs, and reporting for executive visibility
* Partner with Line 1 Risk to ensure controls meet regulatory and internal standards
* Support change management activities across impacted teams
* Facilitate control assessments, identify gaps, and support sustainable solutions
* Collaborate with internal teams and affiliate partners (e.g. Coles, Qantas, ING, Virgin)
* Coordinate training and communication to support adoption of new processes
What Experience You'll Bring
* Proven experience in process optimisation and/or control improvement
* Strong understanding of risk management principles and control frameworks
* Practical project management skills – planning, tracking, and stakeholder engagement
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including with senior leaders
* Comfort working independently and navigating matrixed environments
* Experience in financial services or other regulated industries (preferred)
* Familiarity with RAID, risk tools, or process automation (a bonus, not required)
