Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Educator to join our team. As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring a team of educators to greatness. You will work closely with the Centre Educational Leader to create a setting that ignites creativity and curiosity among children.
You will be provided with various learning and development opportunities, including access to our NLRDP Communication and Resource platform, the Creative Collection Arts and Materials with Children training program, and the 'Learning Leaves' Documentation training. You will also have the opportunity to apply for and participate in our exclusive New Zealand Study Tour.
Additionally, you will be supported daily by the Centre Educational Leader. Your strong focus on the image of a child and collaboration will help create a well-resourced and thoughtfully planned environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A strong focus on the Image of Child
* Proven ability to plan, implement, and evaluate programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) & National Quality Standards (NQS)
* Leadership experience mentoring educators to meet high standards
* An ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or willingness to study towards a Diploma within 3 months)
* A current and relevant Working with Children's Check
* Current Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain upon commencement
* Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain
