The Role
A new opportunity has arisen for a full-time Float Legal Assistant to work in our Melbourne Office. As a Float Legal Assistant, you will display a willingness to learn and have experience, ideally within a variety of practice areas, along with a "can-do" attitude. This position is a 12 month fixed term contract role.
* Responsibilities will include the following:
* Answering phone calls and assisting with client enquiries;
* Preparing legal documents;
* Diary management;
* Coordinating team meetings/events;
* Mail merging documents and formatting; and
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and diary management skills, with a client service focus. You will have the ability to prioritise tasks, display initiative, have good attention to detail and a proven history of meeting deadlines. The core office hours are 8.30am to 5pm.
This role would be a great opportunity for a law student who can commit to full-time work hours looking to gain experience across different practice areas within the firm.
