The Opportunity
In preparing for its next phase of evolution, our client is seeking to appoint an inaugural Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Working closely with the founding Managing Director, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the organisation's future, ensuring continued growth, operational excellence, and an ongoing commitment to clients and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with the established vision and values.
2. Operational Excellence: Oversee high-quality service delivery across all operations, maintaining a reputation for safety, reliability, and innovation.
3. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and internal teams.
4. People Development: Champion the team's growth and development, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and safety.
5. Business Growth: Drive sustainable growth through strategic partnerships, innovative solutions, and expansion into new markets.
6. Financial Stewardship: Ensure strong financial performance and effective management of company resources.
About You
We are seeking a results-driven and visionary leader who possesses:
1. Proven executive leadership experience, preferably within mining services, oil & gas, or heavy engineering sectors.
2. A track record of delivering strategic growth while maintaining operational excellence.
3. Strong understanding of safety and quality standards in high-risk industries.
4. Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
5. A commitment to people development and fostering an innovative workplace culture.
6. Commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
7. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, economics, or relevant field, and ideally have completed or are working towards a Master's degree to complement your expertise and strategic thinking capabilities.
