We are seeking an administration to join our busy teamin Welshpool, Perth. This role involves providing administrative support to our project and workshop staff.
This is an entry level role, so on the job training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Overview
About the role
This role provides administrative support to both office and operational site-based staff. The Administrator is responsible for a variety of functions, including:
* Creating purchase orders
* Coordinate corporate travel, hire car and accommodation arrangements for staff
* Assisting with safety documentation
* Assisting with onboarding of new employees
* Assisting with site induction documentation for employees
* Archiving of project documents
* Responsible for ordering stationery, office supplies and coordinating maintenance contractors as required
* Distribution of mail and general communications
* Reception duties ensuring all calls are dealt with in a professional and courteous manner
* Ensure and the office is kept tidy and presentable at all times
Key skills and attributes
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Basic Word, Excel and Outlook
* Positive attitude to learning new skills
* Happy to work within a team and also autonomously
Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria
* Have a strong phone manner
* Be enthusiastic, punctual, reliable and have a good attendance record
* Be motivated and have a positive attitude
* Ability to follow instructions but also use initiative where necessary
* A 'People Person' with great customer and communication skills
