Job Description Process accurate and timely payroll for all employees in accordance with organisational policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant tax, superannuation, and workplace legislation. Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments. Respond promptly to payroll-related enquiries from staff and management. Assist with preparing payroll reports and reconciliations for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure proper integration of payroll data. Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely and effective manner. Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the payroll function. The Successful Applicant A successful Payroll Officer should have: Previous experience in payroll processing, preferably within the Education space Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, tax, and superannuation requirements. Proficiency in SYNERGETIC and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
